‘제이엠(JM)’ EP [생각이 쉬는 오늘]

 

오늘은 생각이 나를 앞서가지 않았으면 했다.
무언가를 판단하지도, 정리하지도 않는 하루.
머릿속에서 계속 말을 걸어오던 생각들이
잠깐 자리를 비워 줬으면 해서.

 

가만히 앉아 있는데
생각은 원래 쉬지 않는다는 걸 새삼 느꼈다.
그래서 설득하는 대신
그냥 내버려 두기로 했다.

 

잘 지내고 있는지 묻지 않고
앞으로 어떻게 할 건지도 생각하지 않았다.
오늘 하루쯤은
아무 의미도 만들지 않아도 되는 날이어도 되니까.

 

생각이 멈추지 않아도 괜찮고
정리가 되지 않아도 괜찮고
괜히 가벼워지지 않아도 괜찮았다.
그저 오늘이라는 하루가
조용히 지나가면 된다고 생각했다.

 

오늘은
생각을 쉬게 하려고 애쓰지 않아도
생각이 나를 놓아주기를 바라는 날이었다.

I was sitting still
I realized anew that thoughts never rest.
So instead of persuading him
I decided to leave it alone.

I didn't even think about what I would do in the future.
For today

 

It's okay if it's a day where you don't have to make any meaning.

It's okay if you don't stop thinking
It's okay even if it's not organized
It was okay not to get lighter for no reason.

Today is just
I thought I could pass quietly.

Even if you don't try to let your thoughts rest
It was a day when I wanted thoughts to let go of me.
