송근영 [Variations on Arirang]

대한민국의 대표 멜로디인 아리랑을 피아니스트 송근영의 색깔로 완전히 탈바꿈을 시킨 아주 아름다운 곡이다. 멜로디는 우리가 흔히 듣던 아리랑이지만 구성은 전혀 새롭게 가져가면서 다양한 Variation을 추가해 극적 효과를 더하였다.

이번에도 그가 원하는 것은 이것 한 가지이다. 그의 음악을 듣는 모든 이들이 쉼과 위로를 얻는 것이다.

Pianist Keunyoung Song re-arranged one of the legendary Korean folk songs, “Arirang”. He tried to keep the original melody but beautifully expressed his sweet arrangements on it which gives a deep richness to the song.
