주께서 자신의 종 대언자들을 통하여 친히 하신 자신의 말씀대로 주께서 갈대아 사람들의 부대와 시리아 사람들의 부대와 모압 족속의 부대와 암몬 자손의 부대를 그에게 보내어 유다를 쳐서 멸하게 하시니라.

 

And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets. 

 

여호와께서 그의 종 선지자들을 통하여 하신 말씀과 같이 갈대아의 부대와 아람의 부대와 모압의 부대와 암몬 자손의 부대를 여호야김에게로 보내 유다를 쳐 멸하려 하시니

 

The LORD sent Babylonian, Aramean, Moabite and Ammonite raiders against him. He sent them to destroy Judah, in accordance with the word of the LORD proclaimed by his servants the prophets.
