Key Note, Joelle - Devotional Essay

“The Morrow”

What’s in my hand? My hands are busy with lots of work. My hands, which do not seem to be dependent on my consciousness, seem to move as if they were controlled by two people. Because I am always busy, the eyes are always busy capturing everything in one moment, I am so used to judging what is in sight, and then using the other hand at the same time and taking steps all at once. My body listens and reacts to my thoughts and judgements.

Where are the standards for the things that establishes me with knowledge?

I go around using a car which is calculated according to my movement. There is an instant happiness in arriving just in time.  All of sudden, I remembered what I hd left behind. If the car had arrived a little later, I would have thought about it and not forget it. Since the car was on time, it made me go back around. Because of this given time and situation, I can not help but to look and reflect on myself. I start judging and rebuking everyone who moves slowly because the time I am in is set for me. The remnants of life evaporated like water vapor are only action of denouncing according to the pride of my knowledge.

Where was my thought heading to?

If I had seeked and called unto father and if my thoughts  were in him, I would have treated everyone with a more gentle heart and nothing would have gone wrong. He who knows all of us and fulfills His needs, waits for us to realize and to turn to his direction with guidance. There is no pushing or pressure but rather patience.  He have been waiting for me to come to a realization.  I hope that my surroundings and I will recognize and coordinate each other to create a harmonious flow. I'm maturing with a delay because my time is not the same as His time.
