한나 [25현 가야금을 위한 창작앨범]

 

이 앨범은 작곡가 한나가 25현 가야금을 위해 쓴 세 곡의 창작곡을 담고 있습니다. 피아니스트이자 작·편곡가로 활동하고 있는 한나는 전통악기인 가야금의 고유한 음색과 주법에 주목하며, 이를 자신만의 감성적인 음악 언어로 풀어내고 있습니다.

 

첫 번째 곡 〈환상〉은 현실과 꿈의 경계를 오가는 듯한 몽환적인 분위기를 담은 작품입니다. 때로는 잔잔하게, 때로는 자유롭게 변화하는 선율을 통해 마음속에 스쳐 지나가는 상상과 환상의 장면들을 그려냅니다.

 

타이틀 곡인 〈가야금 산책〉은 어디론가 가볍게 산책을 떠나고 싶은 설레는 마음에서 시작된 곡입니다. 25현 가야금 특유의 주법과 매력을 살려 밝고 경쾌한 분위기를 표현하였으며, 음악을 따라 길을 거니는 듯한 여유로운 정서를 전합니다.

 

마지막 곡 〈눈송이〉는 하늘 가득 끝없이 내리는 눈이 우리 삶에 전하는 다양한 감정을 담고 있습니다. 눈을 바라보며 느끼는 기쁨과 설렘, 한 해를 열심히 살아온 자신에게 건네는 위로와 함께, 쌓인 눈을 치우는 수고와 눈길에서 마주하게 되는 크고 작은 순간들까지 음악 속에 담아냈습니다. 아름다운 겨울 풍경뿐만 아니라 그 안에서 펼쳐지는 여러 이야기를 음악으로 그려내며, 듣는 분들께서 각자의 기억과 감정으로 이 곡을 채워 들어주시기를 바랍니다.

[Original Works for 25-String Gayageum]

 

This album features three original works composed by Hanna for the 25-string gayageum. A pianist, composer, and arranger, Hanna explores the distinctive tone and performance techniques of the traditional Korean instrument, expressing them through her own lyrical and sensitive musical language.

 

The first track, **“Reverie,”** captures a dreamlike atmosphere that seems to move between reality and dreams. At times calm and gentle, and at other times free-flowing and expressive, the melodies paint fleeting scenes of imagination and fantasy.

The title track, **“Gayageum Promenade,”** was inspired by the excitement of wanting to set out on a lighthearted walk. Highlighting the unique techniques and charm of the 25-string gayageum, the piece creates a bright and lively mood while evoking the relaxed feeling of strolling along with the music.

 

The final track, **“Snowflakes,”** expresses the many emotions that endlessly falling snow can bring into our lives. It captures the joy and excitement of watching snow fall, the sense of comfort we may feel after reflecting on a year lived with dedication, as well as the effort of clearing accumulated snow and the many small and unexpected moments we encounter on snowy roads. Beyond the beauty of a winter landscape, the piece portrays the many stories that unfold within it, inviting listeners to fill the music with their own memories and emotions.

 

Through these three distinct musical landscapes, the album presents the rich colors and expressive possibilities of the 25-string gayageum, while also offering a glimpse into Hanna’s musical world as it unfolds through the sound of this traditional Korean instrument.
