“Hunt a Partridge in the Mountains”

 

그러므로 이제 주의 얼굴 앞에서 내 피가 땅에 떨어지지 않게 하소서. 이는 산에서 자고새 한 마리를 사냥하는 자와 같이 이스라엘 왕이 벼룩 한 마리를 찾으러 나오셨기 때문이니이다, 하더라.

 

Now therefore, let not my blood fallto the earth before the face of the LORD: for the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains 

 

그런즉 청하건대 여호와 앞에서 먼 이 곳에서 이제 나의 피가 땅에 흐르지 말게 하옵소서 이는 산에서 메추라기를 사냥하는 자와 같이 이스라엘 왕이 한 벼룩을 수색하러 나오셨음이니이다

 

Now do not let my blood fall to the ground far from the presence of the LORD. The king of Israel has come out to look for a flea--as one hunts a partridge in the mountains."
