이 날 너희는 너희의 모든 공경과 환난으로부터 너희를 친히 구원하여 내신 너희 하나님을 버리고 그분께 이르기를, 아니니이다. 오직 우리를 다스릴 왕을 세우소서, 하였도다. 그런즉 이제 너희 지파들대로 수천 명씩 너희 자신을 주 앞에 보이라, 하고

 

And ye have this day rejecfted your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands. 

 

너희는 너희를 모든 재난과 고통 중에서 친히 구원하여 내신 너희의 하나님을 오늘 버리고 이르기를 우리 위에 왕을 세우라 하는도다 그런즉 이제 너희의 지파대로 천 명씩 여호와 앞에 나아오라 하고

 

But you have now rejected your God, who saves you out of all your calamities and distresses. And you have said, 'No, set a king over us.' So now present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes and clans."
