소녀의 기도는 많은 분들이 어린시절 명곡집을 통해 만나, 
아마도 기억 어딘가에 자리하고 있는 곡일 것입니다.

 

그 당시에도 제목부터 참 사랑스럽다고 생각했었는데요.
소녀에서 어른으로 훌쩍 자라버린 지금 이 곡을 대하니,
곡의 주인공이 훨씬 어린 아이처럼 느껴지면서
과거, 소녀였던 나의 모습이 그려지기도 했습니다.

 

우아하고 사랑스러운 원 멜로디를 조금 더 현대적으로 해석해보고 싶었습니다.
재즈 장르를 통해 재즈 발라드와 슬로우 스윙으로 표현해 보았습니다.
사랑스러운 아이의 이미지를 조금 더 부각시키고, 
아이의 재치있는 모습도 표현해보고자 했습니다.

 

그렇지만 제가 원래 추구하는데로
원곡의 멜로디나 느낌을 해치지 않으려 노력했습니다.

 

이 곡의 멜로디는 대충 알지만, 원곡을 잘 모르시는 분은
'그냥 클래식인가보다' 하실 수도 있으실 거에요.
그래서 첫 주제부에는 약간 다르다는 기분을 주기 위해서 
바로 스윙을 넣어 바꿔보았습니다.

Many people have encountered the Girl's Prayer through a collection of childhood classics,

 

and it is probably a song that is somewhere in their memories.

 

Even back then, I thought the title was really lovely.
Now that I have grown up from a girl to an adult,

 

the main character of the song feels like a much younger child,

 

and I can picture myself as a girl in the past.

 

I wanted to interpret the elegant and lovely original melody in a more modern way.

 

I tried to express it through a jazz ballad and slow swing through the jazz genre.

 

I wanted to highlight the image of a lovely child a little more,

 

and also express the child's witty side.

 

However, I tried not to damage the melody or feeling of the original song,

 

as I originally pursued.

 

I know the melody of this song, but those who do not know the original song well

 

might think, 'It's just a classic.'

 

So, in order to give a slightly different feeling to the first theme,

 

I changed it by adding swing.
