한나 [Ave Maria by G.Caccini Piano Version] 

 

'아베마리아'는 '줄리오 카치니(16c)'에 의해 작곡한 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 
그러나 사실 이 곡은 20c 작곡가 '블라디미르 바빌로프'가 작곡한 것으로 추정된다고 합니다.
당시 소련에서 활동하던 그는 검열이나 인지도 문제를 피하기 위한 이유로,
고전 작곡가들의 이름으로 자신의 곡을 발표했다고 합니다.

 

저는 아베마리아에서 풍겨지는 유럽 중세 분위기로 인해 당연히 16c세기를 상상했는데,
거의 현대음악 작곡가의 곡이라는 것에 많이 놀랐습니다.

 

이 곡은 성악곡으로 많은 가사없이 '아베 마리아' 라는 단어가 반복됩니다.
그렇지만 그 안에서 느껴지는 경건함과 엄숙함은 이루말할 수 없는데요.

 

고정되어 이어지는 어떠한 한 음 안에서 발생되는 다양한 화음의 내성 변화를 통해
인간의 복잡다양한 심리를 표현해보고 싶었습니다.

 

그러면서도 곡의 배경 분위기로 느껴지는 당시 유럽 중세음악의 무드나 작곡기법도
최대한 해치지 않으려 노력하였습니다.

 

아름다운 멜로디 밑에 주어지는 엄숙하고 경건한 느낌.
때로는 폭풍처럼 몰아치는 감정과 다시금 차분해지는 감정들의 하모니에 집중하면서

Ave Maria is known to have been composed by Giulio Caccini (16th century).

 

However, it is said that this song was actually composed by 20th century composer Vladimir Vavilov.
It is said that he, who was active in the Soviet Union at the time,
published his songs under the names of classical composers to avoid censorship or recognition issues.

 

I naturally imagined the 16th century due to the European medieval atmosphere that Ave Maria exudes,
but I was very surprised to find that it was a song by an almost modern composer.

 

This song is a vocal song, and the word 'Ave Maria' is repeated without many lyrics.

 

However, the piety and solemnity felt within it are indescribable.

 

I wanted to express the complex and diverse psychology of humans through the internal changes
of various chords that occur in a single note that is fixed and continuous.

 

However, I tried my best not to harm the mood or composition techniques of European medieval music
at the time, which can be felt as the background atmosphere of the song.

 

A solemn and pious feeling given under a beautiful melody.
