내가 이곳과 이곳의 거주민들을 대적하여 말한 것 즉 그들이 황폐한 자가 되고 저주거리가 되리라고 말한 것을 네가 들을 때에 네 마음이 연하여 네가 주 앞에서 네 자신을 낮추며 네 옷을 찢고 내 앞에서 울었으므로 나도 네 말을 들었노라. 주가 말하노라.

Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and aginst the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.

내가 이 곳과 그 주민에게 대하여 빈 터가 되고 저주가 되리라 한 말을 네가 듣고 마음이 부드러워져서 여호와 앞 곧 내 앞에서 겸비하여 옷을 찢고 통곡하였으므로 나도 네 말을 들었노라 여호와가 말하였느니라.

Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I have spoken against this place and its people, that they would become accursed and laid waste, and because you tore your robes and wept in my presence, I have heard you, declares the LORD.
