그가 주의 눈앞에서 올바른 것을 행하였으나 자기 조상 다윗과 같지는 아니하였더라.

 그가 자기 아버지 요아스가 행한대로 모든 것을 행하였으나 

 

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, yet not life David his father: he did according to all things as Joash hia father did.

 

아마샤가 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하였으나 그의 조상 다윗과는 같지 아니하였으며

그의 아버지 요아스가 행한 대로 다 행하였어도

 

He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, but not as his father David had done. In everything he followed the example of his father Joash.
