네가 만일 네 아버지 다윗이 걸은 것 같이 순전한 마음으로 곧바르게 행하여 내 앞에서 걸으며 내가 네게 명령한 모든 것에 따라 행하고 내 법규와 판단의 법도를 지키면

 

And if thou wiltwalk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my status and my judgments:
