Salt(솔트) [꽃]

마음이 한 사람에게 기울 때 사랑하는 대상은 한 송이의 꽃이 피어있는 것에 빗대어 표현할 수 있다고 생각합니다. 대상에 대한 아름다운 생각은 한번도 사랑노래를 썼던 적 없는 사람도 충분히 노래하게 할 수 있다고 생각합니다.

상실감 속에 영원을 생각해 볼 수 있었고, 아쉬움은 작업을 해 내야겠다는 의지가 되었습니다. 곡의 화음을 보강하는데 도움을 아끼지 않으시며 발매 후 노래하는 영상을 찍는데 도움을 주시기로 한 고요한님께 특별한 감사를 드리며, 곡의 반주를 만들고 세션을 맡아주신 이은아 선생님께 감사를 드립니다. 이 곡을 쓸 수 있게 추억을 남기어 주었던 옛 친구에게도 고마움을 느끼며, 언젠가 내 옆에 머물러줄 사람에게 이 노래를 불러주고 싶습니다.

When you feel happy to be falling for someone, that someone could be expressed as a flower which has met its blooming season. I’m sure such beautiful thoughts are enough to motivate an artist to write a love song, even if he or she was never successful with one.

Forever was thought-able going through the very loss I didn’t want and the reminiscence gave me the ultimate motivation to finish my work. Special thanks to Yo-han Ko, who has given help in enhancing the harmonic progressions, and the promise he made to help me take a video shot is most appreciated. Thanks to Eunah Lee tutor who came up with the right piano sound and made the accompaniment track needed for the song. Lastly I’d like to give thanks to the friend who gave me inspirations for the song. One day I will sing this song for the one who stays to share love with me.
